Water Well and Septic System

WildCare gets all of its water from the existing water source that was originally intended for the house only.  WildCare has added: 8 freeze-proof hydrants, 20 nozzles, 7 sinks, 3 hot tubs, one 12’ x 8’ beaver pond, 1 washing machine, 970’ underground water line, and 530’ above-ground water line.  In addition, water is still manually transported 740’ daily via buckets in order to supply water to the enclosures without waterline access.

The water from the food preparation area, laundry and dish area is currently drained into the house septic system.  This will not change.  The water from the Nursery Building and the future facility building needs to be drained into a new septic system.  Both of these areas are conveniently located close to the proposed site for a new septic system.

There are 12 enclosures currently without waterline access.  Due to the distance from the existing hoses, eight of them need underground water lines, freeze-proof hydrants and hoses.
